Employees get swift access to an Asante provider

Asante primary care clinics can get you or your covered dependent an appointment in the same day.
care access

If you’re looking to establish care with an Asante primary care provider, or you need a same-day appointment with an existing Asante provider, you can get help quickly by calling Asante’s special patient access phone line.

Employees and dependents enrolled in the Asante Health Plan should call (541) 789-1234 for a same-day appointment. Asante employees can also get swift access to care at the Black Oak and Murphy Road APP clinics in Medford.

If you’re looking for a new primary care provider, you can establish care with an Asante provider within two weeks by calling the number above.

If you or a family member have already established care and are feeling sick or have a minor injury, you can also call that number for a same-day appointment. Appointments for calls received after 1 p.m. may be offered for the next business day. The patient access phone line also will help you find same-day care within the Asante system if your provider is unavailable.

The phone line’s hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you have an urgent medical need after hours or on the weekend, go to the Emergency Department.

Remember, when you use an APP provider your coverage falls under the Category 1 tier, so you will save the most in your out-of-pocket expenses.

If you’ve already established care, you can directly schedule a same-day or future visit appointment with your primary care provider directly through MyChart. On a daily basis, there is an average of over 80 appointment slots across the APP system, so if your provider is not available, other providers should have availability. Those providers will show with dates and times available for appointments. If you do not already have a MyChart account, sign up through Asante.org. Once you have signed in, click on Visits > Schedule an appointment and choose the reason for the visit, such as a primary care visit. You can also contact the clinic directly to make an appointment.

If you have any questions, email Asante Benefits or call (541) 789-4551. You can also submit a case in the Ask HR section of myHR.

I find this news disturbing because I am unable to switch my PCP to one in Medford. I am seeeing an Asante provider in White City. When I search on the Asante sight and filter “accepting new patients”, I get a response, this criteria is not met. I am currently off work due to illness and Would love to switch to a Medford PCP clinic as it would be easier to be more local.
Can Asante employees be put on a wait list?

I used the same day visit option, called at 9am and by 10am revived a call back and appt scheduled at 3pm. This is just another amazing thing thing that Asante does for their employees that other local companies can not offer.
