Employees gave back to the community this spring

Fifty-one Asante employees gave back to their communities last quarter through volunteering.

Spring was busy for employees participating in Asante’s Spirit of Service Program. A whopping 51 employees volunteered over 1,821 hours from April through June.

Spirit of Service

Five employees were chosen from a random drawing to win 12,500 points from PointRecognition:

  • Marie O’Connor, ATRMC Radiation Oncology
  • Anja Rink, Human Resources
  • Kylie Thurman, ATRMC Rehab
  • Margaret Machgan, ATRMC Pharmacy
  • Sarah Perkins, ATRMC Surgery

The winner of the random new-participant drawing for 12,500 points is Danitra McIntosh, ATRMC Obstetrics.

Volunteer service qualifies for the program if it’s done for a local school, church, city council, police or fire department, ambulance service or a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency within Asante’s service area.
