Device gives you instant blood pressure monitoring

Employees who need help tracking their blood pressure may now get a free monitoring system through Livongo. The Livongo for Hypertension program provides employees covered by the Asante Health Plan with a monitor linked to a mobile app that offers personalized feedback and one-on-one coaching.

By joining Livongo you’ll get:

• A connected blood pressure monitor, which sends your readings to Livongo’s mobile app.
• Coaches who can answer questions, support your weight-loss efforts and give advice on how to improve your health.
• A safe and secure way to review your records and share with your providers.

To use the benefit, visit Livongo’s Asante portal and download the app to complete enrollment. When you log in, you’ll be sent a welcome kit with a blood pressure monitor. If you’re already a member of Livongo, just download the most recent version of the Livongo app. Sign in with the code ASANTE if prompted and tap the section for Livongo for Hypertension. (Make sure the address listed in your account is correct.)

Livongo has helped employees with diabetes since 2019 by providing a free blood glucose smart meter, lancets and regular supplies of test strips, eliminating out-of-pocket costs for diabetes supplies.
