Asante Health Promotion offers Care of the Caregiver sessions at all three hospitals this month. To enjoy a free session, reserve a spot of any of the following dates:
- Every Monday, 1 to 3 p.m. in the AACH staff lounge.
- The third Wednesday of the month, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., ACOH Conference Room 6, ATRMC.
- The first Saturday of the month, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Carpenter Room, ARRMC.
Sessions are planned throughout the year.
Trained practitioners who have completed the requirements through Volunteer Services will offer 20-minute Reiki sessions. Reiki is a healing practice that taps into the “universal life force energy” that circulates throughout our bodies. Physical or emotional injury or illness can block this energy, causing imbalance in the body. Reiki helps replace this energy and restore balance.
The number of sessions will depend on the availability of practitioners. Here’s your chance to de-stress during the workday so that you’re better able to care for patients. Sign-ups are first-come, first-served, so reserve a spot by emailing Healing Services. Please specify your preferred appointment time.

Can we get this at Three Rivers as well?
we are working on providing this service at both TRMC and AACH as well…stay tuned

I scheduled a session – my first Reiki experience – Feb. 15 at ACOH, and it was well worth it. Taking 20 minutes to breathe, relax, de-stress, and recharge was priceless. Thank you to the entire Healing Services team, and to Gail Anderson (my Reiki practitioner that day)!

I would really like to join but unfortunately I only have Tuesdays and Wednesdays available. Also I was wondering exactly where at RRMC it was located on Saturdays. This looks like a wonderful and invaluable experience thank you for offering this especially free to employees!
