At Asante, our roots run deep

New advertising campaign features employees’ strong ties to our community.

When it comes to telling the story of Asante’s place in our community we need to look no further than our own employees. Some were born and raised here; others chose the Rogue Valley to raise their families. And some have made working at Asante a family affair spanning generations.

Inspired by these community ties, Asante Communications and Marketing is launching the latest iteration of the Community Lives Here brand campaign: Our Roots Run Deep.

The campaign tells the stories of Asante employees, whose own roots are deeply embedded in the communities we serve. In 2023, at least three employees will be featured in TV ads, billboards, social media posts and print ads.

ATRMC’s Lucy and Scott Lesina will be featured in billboards throughout the Rogue Valley.

The first to appear this month features Scott and Lucy Lesina, a married couple who have worked for Asante for 21 years and raised their children in Grants Pass. Scott is a physical therapist and Lucy an occupational therapist, both at ATRMC.

The Lesinas say that being part of the community brings them closer to their patients.

“We love and respect our patients,” Scott said. “We see them as friends and neighbors.”

The purpose of the campaign is to increase awareness about Asante’s local ties and inspire future job candidates to work here.

“The Roots campaign focuses on Asante as a community-based health system,” said Lauren Van Sickle, manager of communications and public relations, who helped conceive the campaign. “It reflects our history of caring in the Rogue Valley for 100 years and the time-honored care provided by employees dedicated to their community.”

If you have a Roots story of your own that you’d like to share, or know of a coworker who has an interesting Roots story that we may feature, please email La**************@As****.org. Other ads featuring Asante employees will roll out later this year.
