Asante’s recruiting effort goes social

Follow the new Asante careers Facebook page and be entered to win a $50 gift card.

Careers page

Because word of mouth is the best form of advertising, Asante Talent Acquisition has created an Asante careers Facebook page. Here, jobseekers can learn about hiring opportunities, Asante’s workplace culture and life in Southern Oregon. Existing employees can also share their experience about what it’s like working for a nationally recognized health system.

Followers of the page can get instant updates on new job openings and get to know some of our staff through photos and video testimonials.

“This page allows us to connect with people in a much more genuine way,” said Asante recruiter Bailey Morgan. “We get to share about our employee brand on a platform where our audience is actively engaged, so we get a lot of great feedback!”

FollowingTo grow its audience, Talent Acquisition will hold a random drawing for a $50 gift card. The winner will be chosen among the page’s followers. The contest closes on Nov. 30, so visit the page and choose the “Following” function to be entered into the drawing.

The page is part of a broad recruiting and retention effort to return to pre-pandemic staffing levels. Although still high, Asante’s job vacancy rate is showing signs of dropping. Currently the number of open and pending positions is about 890 compared with 1,400 earlier this year. Recruiting and retention is among the top priorities for Asante’s recovery in 2023.
