Asante welcomes the return of National Guard troops
This is the second deployment to our organization since the beginning of the pandemic.
On Jan. 14, the first phase of troops from the Oregon National Guard began return to Asante. The second phase of troops are scheduled to arrive on Jan. 24.
A total of 131 personnel are being sent to Asante, including 30 in Grants Pass, 20 in Ashland and 81 in Medford.
Much like last time, the troops will go through orientation first, then be deployed throughout our facilities to work in dietary, environmental services, logistics, materials management and administrative services.
It’s anticipated the troops will be at Asante through the end of February.
