Asante employees named to state board

Dawn Wipf and Bonnie Freel will serve the Oregon chapter of the American Case Management Association.

Dawn Wipf, director of Resource Management, and Bonnie Freel, a manager for Utilization Management at ATRMC, were appointed to the board of directors for the Oregon chapter of the American Case Management Association. Each will serve a two-year term. The association supports professionals working in case management and transitions of care, a field of health care that aims to improve outcomes while lowering costs.

“These elected board members have stepped up to contribute their expertise to our profession,” said Pamela Andrews, president of the association’s national board of directors. The national association has 8,000 members — most of them nurses, social workers, physicians, educators and administrators — across 30 states.
