Andrea Reeder named Asante Foundation executive

The former campaign director succeeds Floyd Harmon as vice president and executive director.

Andrea Reeder has joined the Asante executive team as vice president and executive director of Asante Foundation. She succeeds Floyd Harmon, who retired on March 25.

Reeder joined Asante in 2014 as a development director for Asante Foundation. In 2018, she was named campaign director, leading the planning and execution of AsanteForward, the $50 million capital campaign to support Asante’s expansion efforts. To date, Reeder has single-handedly raised nearly $20 million to support our health system.

In her role, Reeder leads the Foundation department and collaborates closely with Asante leaders team to align Asante’s priorities and vision with partners in the community to support these efforts. Her goal is to create a culture of philanthropy, internally and externally, positioning Asante as the charity of choice and trusted health care partner throughout our region.

Before pursuing a career in health care philanthropy, Reeder developed fundraising programs and capital campaigns for private schools across the country, and spent several years as a restaurateur. She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Governors University. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking and spending time with family. She lives in Central Point with her husband, Tim.

    I am pleased to have Andrea here in Southern Oregon. She is an advocate for excellence in our community as we all seek the finest health care possible. With her efforts, many more have hope and joy as they continue to become the best they can be. I commend her for her undaunting courage, devotion, and professional drive for excellence. Angels definitely do walk among us and I am happy to call her my friend.
